Ryu Mei Company is a Japanese company located in Kobe, Japan and is founded by Thomas Koh Sing Sen. Ryu Mei Company Ltd primarily trades in organic green tea products and accessories to small and mid-size overseas companies. We also trades other commodities like Abalone, Shochu and other Japanese products as well.

This online organic green tea shop was started on Nov 2007, and has been re-worked and re-designed many times ever since. Our company policy is that we do not sell our organic green tea with excessive packaging, hype, or with colorful boxes to artificially imprint our product quality. Our product is fresh, and highest in quality and we do not need to put up good design to show it.

We are a simple organic green tea shop and we preferred to sell our product in a simple cardboard box and pack that is made from recycled materials. Unlike the Japanese tea markets filled with fancy tins, expensive wrappings and colorful designed boxes, we prefer not to go into these kind of marketing strategies because it is a very wasteful and environment unfriendly strategy that hurt our environment. What is the point of living in a healthy lifestyle when we are creating so much garbage in our own backyard?

We do not spam. We preferred to let our customer enjoy the tea and recommend by word of mouth and a simple newsletter (ebay). If you like our products, please continue to support our organic cause, if not, please advise us on how we can change to make it better.

Ryu Mei Co Ltd also believes organic tea farming is a sustainable farming management that will keep our resources and land for many generations. We believe organic tea farming produces better nutrition and mineral value than conventional tea farming. Fact is that if the demand for organic tea increase, prices will decline.

Well, products sold on Ebay are generally priced higher due to listing and auction fees.
